SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Green technologies that respect the environment. Our plant was built paying the utmost attention to respecting the environment and reducing energy consumption.

SOLAR PANELS

We were among the first in the Emilia Romagna region to produce clean electricity from solar panels in our production plant.

INVERTER TECHNOLOGY

To further reduce CO2 production, we will replace most of the electric motors in the company with those with inverter technology.

C.E.R & E.O.W

Our metal waste complies with C.E.R. (European Waste Code) and E.O.W. (End of Waste) regulations for the storage and marketing of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

REDUCE

Decrease the sale of plastic bottles from distributors and replace them with the supply of glass bottles.

REUSE

Eliminate disposable plastic items such as plastic cups, spoons, straws and stirrers.

RECYCLE

Do not use disposable plastic during company events and/or meetings.

RECOVER

The message that the company has shared with employees is very simple, but direct:

For each stainless steel bottle that we distribute to employees and customers, the non-profit organization PLASTICFREE will commit to collecting 20kg of plastic dispersed in our cities - beaches - countryside, thus making the world a little cleaner.

We use them and throw them away, often careless of their fate and disposal.

ENERGY

Electricity produced by the photovoltaic system in the period:
November 2008 - June 2024

It is possible to estimate the amount of carbon dioxide emissions and other pollutants contributing to the increase in the greenhouse effect equal to 0.49 kg for each kWh produced by a photovoltaic generation system. The aforementioned value represents the "emission factor of the electrical mix" which represents the average value of CO2 emissions due to the production of electricity used in Italy.

The figure is made public by the Ministry of Environment.

PACKAGING

Dallai has decided to abandon plastic bags for these reasons:

  • Ecology
  • Practicality
  • Space management

I Palletized boxes are stackable up to a maximum of 2..

All this allows:
- use of an operator with a pallet truck;
- easy movement with a forklift.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES FOR THE CUSTOMER?

  • REUSE: Once the material is stored in your warehouse, you will have high-quality cardboard and pallets available to reuse as many times as you want.
  • LESS TIME for handling packages.
  • MORE ORDER and correct arrangement of the goods.

A high-quality box that allows us to overlap very heavy packages.

The material will be stored in boxes with DS strong 1700 ACA corrugated cardboard. Special boxes approved for sea shipments (BFSV approval).

In the American headquarters in Deerfield Beach FL, completely recyclable packaging has been used since its inception.
